Small Business Saturday

Today is Small Business Saturday, and I hope you took some time to visit some of your local shops. Yesterday, we skipped Black Friday and Prince Charming and I took Lil Monkey to the local Christmas Tree Farm in Manvel, Texas, to get our annual tree. This town is a short drive south of Houston and while we were there I was excited that the two boys were willing to take a detour to a new quilt ship in town, Quilter's Corner. From the minute I walked into the shop, I was greeted with good ol' Southern hospitality and friendliness.

I fell in love with a lot of fabrics, but limited myself to stuff for 2 current projects and 1 new one. We chatted about classes, fabrics patterns and more and when they discovered The was a Quiltsmart Brand Ambassador, they showed me two of their bags, a Mondo and Midi and I was in love. Don't take my word for it, what do your think?

They also have the interfacing by the panel ... in case you want to make more. I must warn you, these bags are addicting! In the meantime, these beautiful fabrics came home with me!

I am already making a list of fabric for presents and hope to get back soon. You can learn more about the shop on the Quilter's Corner Facebook page.

Until our next cup of tea ...
