A Little Artistic Detour ...

Remember last week when I was telling you about a business trip to Jefferson, Texas? Well, I mentioned that along the way we stopped at a little roadside store where there was some yard art and Mexican pottery. We only stopped briefly, but long enough for us to fall in love with some of these pieces. Here are some photos of my favorites ...

When we were younger we would sometimes go to Mexico or visit Hispanic sections of Houston with my mother and her family, so I have always loved Mexican and Indian pottery. The colors are just so beautiful and bright.

The goats ... C'mon, my mom loved these, She has a goat farm that they will soon be selling, so she was looking for some reminders for her new house. These are on the "possible" list.

That dog is so darn cute! I loved it, but I'm pretty sure dear hubby will say we have more than enough doggy love at The Teacup Cottage, but I told my mom it'd make a great Christmas present ... ** hint, hint.

These rose are just adorable. There were different sizes, bouquets and single roses, but all so cute. Got to love a flower that doesn't die! Mom said she has seen a few of these around where we live, so we may be in for a trip to the local Flea Market.

Until next time, stay #CreativelyInspired!
