Christmas Concludes ... With a Small Gift

Well, Christmas 2017 has come to an end. It has been an active year for Houstonians. We started by hosting the Super Bowl, had a relatively few months and a quiet but busy summer, then we were hit by Hurricane Harvey, followed by the incredible journey of our Houston Astros winning the 2017 Wold Series. Then we woke to snow on Dec. 8 and now, despite days left in 2017 our poor little community is facing an outbreak of Flu with strange symptoms that is knocking people off their feet for days. I think we are ready for 2017 to end and a quiet, uneventful 2018 to arrive.

While I sit here with a Lil  Monkey battling a 102 degree fever, I am slowly putting away his gifts, and preparing to take down the holiday decor. As I was looking over the ornaments on the tree (and avoiding cleaning the presents everywhere), I realized that Lil Monkey has grown quite a collection of ornaments in his almost 8 years. I also realized (sadly) that I don't remember where I got some of my own ornaments on the tree and decided to make a catalog of his ornaments. One day we will pass them along to him and his family one day and it would be great to have a book with all the stories of his ornaments.

There's no reason for me not to share and hope that you enjoy filling it out will all your cherished memories. You can find a printable PDF version of the form by downloading it from HERE.

I hope you and your family had a great holiday season and may your 2018 be filled with family, fun, creativity, memories and more!

Editor's Note: This year Lil Monkey also received some Christmas decor items and has a few her made himself, so I made a generic form that you can find HERE.

Until next time, stay #CreativelyInspired!
