Creative Christmas Wreaths

Happy Holidays Sweet Teacupers! Are you enjoying all the activities that the holiday has to offer or are you stressing a little because you realize Christmas is 3 weeks away? I'm doing both!! So instead of panicking, I wanted to take a break from some projects and share some projects made by another local mom.

A few weeks ago I was cleaning out my craft closet in the studio and found some rolls of decor mesh. Since George has bought a huge wreath with poinsettias for the front door last year and we already had 3 that had been made over the years, I figured I wouldn't get around to making wreaths anytime soon listed on a local sale page for moms in the area. Within minutes a mom asked to buy it and she picked it up the next day. I meant the just leave them on the porch, but I think I kind of startled her when I met her at the door because I had found more rolls and just added them to the pile. (Sorry, Kristie!)

I didn't really think about it any more until she messaged me last week with an update. She had added some ribbon and made 2 wreaths ...

I was so impressed. Wreaths are not something that comes easily to me, I can't seem to get them to look like what I envision, but aren't these amazing!?!

She said that one of them are for her sister-in-law, after they lost everything in Hurricane Harvey last year. She decided to let her SIL finish it with the ornaments or sign that she wanted on there. Isn't that the sweetest gift?

Well, I'm off to work on a project for the White Elephant style swap at this weekend's Modern Quilt Guild meeting. Until next time, stay #CreativelyInspired!
